On November 16^th, we had “English Hour”.  It’s the most important event in a year for us.

We performed “Princess Kaguya” in English this year.  We decided to make some arrangements in the story, so we rewrote a script in English.  It was very difficult.

We started practicing the play before summer vacation, but it was difficult for us to practice enough. The reason was every student was so busy, so getting together was the hardest part for us in this event.

We were very glad when we saw that audience was laughing and smiling.  “English Hour” was a good experience for us!　We thank teachers and the ESS members of the high school.

１１月１６日、イングリッシュアワーが開かれました。ESS同好会にとって一年で最も重要なイベントです。

今年、私たちは「かぐや姫」を英語で披露しました。オリジナル版のかぐや姫の物語を作り、英語で台本を書くことに挑戦しました。とても難しかったです。

夏休み前から練習を始めましたが、どの生徒も忙しく、なかなか十分に練習ができませんでした。全員が集まるのが一番大変でした。

当日は、観ている人たちが笑っているのが見えたときはとても嬉しかったです。イングリッシュアワーは私たちにとってとても良い経験になりました。練習をみてくださった先生方と、高校の先輩方に感謝しています。
