Our Speech at Assembly
(三人)ごきげんよう Hello everyone!
（井上）Some people may know or have seen us before and some people may not have, but we came as the exchange students from your sister school, Otsuma-tama high school in Japan. We are the first year that is doing this amazing program. I’m pretty sure that whatever we learned here will make a big difference- in our future and
this time that we spent at Brigidine College will take a huge part of our life which we are never going to forget.
（財満）We have been here since the start of this term and we only have one week left which makes us feel sad. We were sent here to experience the close look of different cultures and to tell what we have learnt to our family, friends and to our school back in Japan. There are plenty of stories to tell. I particularly enjoyed riding the Giant Drop at Dream World. The beautiful view from the top and the scariness is unforgettable. When it dropped, my host sister, Sarah, and I screamed “very” loudly! I remember riding the City Cat with my other host sister Bronagh. I found out that how big the Brisbane River is and I enjoyed the nice breeze on the City Cat. We don’t have transport like that in Japan so it was a great new experience for me. （佐藤） I had a lot of fun with Katelyn and Rebecca when we went to Australia Zoo. I fed Kangaroos and touched a Crocodile. The Kangaroo was so cute that I actually wanted to take it home. The Crocodile scared me a lot even though it was small. Not all the memories happened recently. I still remember the early days here like the time I went to mount coot-tha. I saw the afternoon and the night view of the whole of Brisbane and Brigidine College. During that time, I was nervous about my stay here and going to Brigidine but my feelings changed at this moment. It made me excited for the days to come.（井上）My best memory here is spending a day at South Bank with Maddy on Australia day. We saw the fireworks which was the most beautiful one I’ve ever seen. I also can’t forget the day at Dream Word with Maddy, my second host sister. We screamed really hard that we lost our voice on the next day!財満）These couldn’t have happened without you all.
（佐藤）We would like to say thank you to the friends that made our stay 10 times deeper and meaningful. To our host families, Maddy Keogh, Katelyn Lawson, Bronagh Mc.Manus, Maddy Agnew and Sarah Nelson for taking a sincere care of us and taking us to many beautiful places in Australia. Thanks to you, we could experience many awesome things in Australia.
（井上）We would also like to say thank you to all the wonderful teachers who taught us at Brigidine. To Mr Cahill for welcoming us and giving us this amazing opportunity.（財満）And mostly to Mrs Steven who took care of us from our first day we arrived at Brisbane and supported us until now.
（佐藤）We will miss everyone here but for now, we will enjoy the rest of our stay.
（三人）ありがとう Thank you.
